A Muslim So Moderate, You’ll Just Lose Your Head

17 02 2009

If you’re married to him…

Muzzammil “Mo” Hassan, founder and CEO of Bridges TV, an Islamist channel designed to present moderate Islam to diverse audiences, has been arrested for beheading his wife after she filed for divorce.  Hassan was given an award in 2007 by the Hamas-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Imagine if he was a Televangelist!

Mark Steyn is on the cutting edge of the story in his latest piece, Headless Body in Gutless Press

When poor Mrs. Hassan’s husband launched his TV network to counter negative stereotypes of Muslims, he had no difficulty generating column inches, as far afield as The Columbus Dispatch, The Detroit Free Press, The San Jose Mercury NewsVariety, NBC News, the Voice of America, and the Canadian Press. The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle put the couple on the front page under the headline “Infant TV Network Unveils The Face Of Muslim News”.

But, when Muzzammil Hassan kills his wife and “the face of Muslim news” is unveiled rather more literally, detached from her corpse at his TV studios, it’s all he can do to make the local press — page 26 of Newsday, plus The Buffalo News, and a very oddly angled piece in the usually gung-ho New York Post, “Buffalo Beheading: Money Woe Spurred Slay“.

aasiya_hassanHere’s the formerly happy couple…As you can see, they are the definition of “moderates.”

He only went slightly overboard from what the Quran told him to do…

Give him a Sharia court, and they’re likely to find him innocent.

I’ve Never Felt Like This About Someone

20 01 2009

On second thought, maybe I have.

Truth is, in 1999-2000, I hated George Bush for the motherloving President’s-son, silver-spoon, frat-boy, skull&bones, coke-blowin’,chimp-lookin’, oil-slurpin’-Texas bumpkin that I thought he was is was.

But soon thereafter, “respecting the office” meant, me caring for the man as I came to wonder how he somehow went to bed every night and believing that he actually was trying to help America, not just kill brown peoples.

Now, to review the duality and the crazy way that things work out…that if on 9/11/01 you were  told that American mainland wouldn’t be attacked again in 8 years, but that our next President would be named Barack Hussein Obama

Would you have said we won or lost?

Sorry was that ethnocentric of me?

So, Bush is now done but he’ll continue to write letters to every single family of fallen servicemen.  And supposedly bleeding heart liberals, like this A-hole Bruce Springsteen, can’t even find a single thing to thank him for.

Not a single thing.

Even in this crazy infinite world, where we can never truly know the answers to, “what if…”

They hate him like he was Saddam Hussein and it was 1998.

But it’s 2009.

Hussein (Saddam) is now a peaceful, secular victim to the crusading, genocidal war criminal and terrorist, George Bush.  Bush is so damned evil (how evil is he?) he’s so evil he inoculated the word, “Hussein” so Obama could use it as an attribute.  Bush actually opened the door for another man of perfectly opposite speaking ability, to come out of nowhere and enthrall hundreds of millions around the world with a single word.

“Change.”

See, you can’t predict anything in this madness.

Al Gore might have won Florida and gone on to invade Iraq, Saudi Arabia, AND IRAN. (Updated link here)

No?  That’s outrageous you say?

So, for a newer, wiser me and the President-I-didn’t-vote-for?

I hope and believe the office of the Presidency will sober any man right out of his partisanship.  The things that become known to him after his victory might explode normal human brains.

And so, being “blinded by my love for America,”  I already feel a bond with Obama in many respects, especially in light of recent burnt pictures of him in the Muslim world.

Importantly, 79% of Americans, meaning; over 60% of Republicans, are optimistic about an Obama Administration.  His numbers display a 20% advantage in the nation’s support over what Bush enjoyed in 2001, highlighted by this Newsbusters.org pic, taken at Bush’s inauguration.

bush-inauguration

The vast majority of Republicans are “country firsters” and realize success for Obama should mean success for America.

I’m willing to start anew and give him the benefit of the doubt until I see otherwise.  I have admonished the cognitive dissonance of liberals as they seemed to actively root for tragic milestones.  I’ll not do the same.  And, I’ll be more supportive of his domestic plans when I’m convinced he shares the belief that America is the most exceptional nation on earth, who’s culture is special and worth preserving at all costs.

Even before I’m convinced, I want to wish him well and let everyone know that I’ll be pissing liberals off by praying for President Obama and his family.

Certainly some of you are disagreeing or wondering how I can say that when I’ve been so exceptionally hard on him?

The fact is, my overt expressions on sensitive issues pertaining to Obama and my lack of trust can be directly traced to the death of the journalistic reporting.  I shouldn’t have had to dig to find a single negative story about a man who is a complete unknown, before electing him President of the United States.

Journalists nowadays are lap dogs instead of watch dogs as they have deemed it their job to transform America rather than police those who’s job that actually is.

This utter failure of the mainstream media hit Americans like a Whopper shortage and naturallycitizen amateur unlicensed non-corporate alternatives have sprung up to ask the basic questions. (Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?)

It’s big media’s fault that there weren’t professional resources allocated to investigate a lot of the crazy things that came up about Obama and for that matter, rudimentary things.  But time didn’t stop when they failed to do their job, and in the interim, a man has been elected by the majority of Americans, so I’ll be rooting for him.

Now let’s all celebrate the peaceful transfer of power and enjoy the speech written by this guy:

“Brilliant Constitutionalists” Say This Stuff All The Time

19 01 2009

The other day, the soon-to-be, Ego-In-Chief called for a, “new Declaration of Independence.” Obama is seemingly gleeful at the economic crisis and the opportunity it presents for bigger government, huge expenditures and a grand opportunity for his legacy.

Side note: Maybe I sound like liberals who say Bush relished 9/11 because he could then bludgeon every Muslim nation…heck, maybe Bush did enjoy it.  Then again, don’t we all remember Bush at the kindergarten when he learned of the 9/11 attacks, something the empathetic left has never let him live down.  That was not the look of happiness.  But I’m open to the idea that he had a bone to pick with Hussein (Saddam)…are liberals open to the idea that Obama is ecstatic over the current economic storm?

Later in his speech, Obama gave us another hint of the contempt he has for the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence saying, “documents that (are) imperfect but had within them, like our nation itself, the capacity to be made more perfect.”

This reminds us of the audio tapes that emerged from the Constitutional law professor lecturer in the final days of the 2008 election.  The corporate media didn’t dare redistribute the word because the lunacy in them could have doomed his campaign and killed their dream.

In them, Obama, even without a Russian accent, bemoans:

The Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radicalIt didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the Federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf, and that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, tragedies of the civil rights movement was, um, because the civil rights movement became so court focused I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change.

If nothing else, this type of information proves that we still don’t know anything about Barack Obama because the media, so integral to a free Democracy, has completely failed us.

Geez, I wonder if Saul Alinsky, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers and Castro agree with Obama about the imperfect founding documents.

Snowball Survives Hell: Egypt Blames Hamas!

8 01 2009

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Also, something that won’t be found on Al-Jazeera or any American newspapers, “Egyptian border guards have opened fire on Palestinians who breached the border to escape Israel’s assault on Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”

Don’t ask Dhimmi Carter for an explanation.  He just blamed the truce break on…wait for it…ISRAEL!  He says they, “launched an attack in Gaza to destroy a defensive tunnel being dug by Hamas…” Now, that’s clever stuff!  The smuggling tunnels are juuuust like 1950s American bomb shelters!

And it’s important to note that Gazans are being denied medical access at Egyptian hospitals.

The mainstream media will be sure not to tell the, “no-human-being-is-illegal/open borders” crew.  Maybe the Palestinians should just say, “they’re only doing the jobs Egyptians won’t do.”

Via Instapundit: Jules Crittenden has thoughts. “It’s a build. George Bush actually made significant progress in that area, facilitating the isolation of Hamas in the Arab world. With a major assist from Hamas itself, of course, as the savagery of this terrorist group became apparent. That could be another promising area of foreign policy for Obama to lift wholesale from the Bush admin. The suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza can be laid directly at the door of Hamas and its murderous policies, with a nod to clandestine support from Iran.”

MSNBC: “Obama Comes Off As What He Is, Good Government Guy.”

11 12 2008

Good news!

Corporate mass media has thoroughly researched it, and unanimously exonerated Obama from any and all ties to Blogajevich after Obama said he knew nothing on the subject matter. I guess Obama never even went to the Capitol building in Illinois.

Basically, even centuries-old Chicago style politics, are repelled by Obama’s overall Teflon goodness, or that’s what Joan Walsh on MSNBC says.

Chris Matthews piled on Walsh’s nauseating adulation, with a completely disingenuous segue, blaming one-party dominance and the need for competition….in government.

Side note:

These people seriously do not understand that government encroachment doesn’t foster competition, absence of government does.

Where else than in nature, is competition’s unbridled rule, more evident?  Liberals worship Darwin.  How is this over their heads?  Naturally, mankind competes, and so therefore, open markets can maximize competition and allow for progress.

Liberals still believe politicians who say, “hi I’m from the gov’t and I’m here to help.”  And they have manifested their fantastical hopes for a benevolent monarchist in Obama, the “good government guy.”

A man from in Chicago hasn’t garnered this much loyalty since Chris Farley and George Wendt did Ditka.

UPDATE: Howard Fineman channels OutOfTheBlu and declares Obama hermetically sealed from Blago-gate.

Illinois Governor Arrested. Calls Obama “MFer.”

9 12 2008

In yet another example of inherent government corruption and liberal media bias, Rod Blagojevich has been arrested for rank cronyism as he attempted to defile the democratic process and get compensated for filling Obama’s vacant Senate seat. The FBI caught him saying a senate seat, “is a f^%$#*g valuable thing, you just don’t give it away for nothing.”

Goes to show you the political environment Obama mastered.

Big media naturally avoided his Democrat party label, as they almost always do, in their ongoing pursuit to brainwash the masses that, only the Repubs are the “party of corruption.”

Also missing from any “reporter’s” work?

Any mention of Barack Obama’s implied bribes to Blago, which sent the Governor into a profanity-laced tirade that was captured on FBI wiretaps.  They also neglected to mention the triumverate’s previously unearthed ties of Blago, Obama, and his ally; infamous scumbag slumlord, Tony Rezko.

From Newsbusters.org

Post facto thought: doesn’t Ross’s piece indicate that Obama was actually involved in this pay for play? Read this section again (emphasis added):

The FBI affidavit said Blagojevich had been told by an adviser “the President-elect can get ROD BLAGOJEVICH’s wife on paid corporate boards in exchange for naming the President-elect’s pick to the Senate.”

Doesn’t that suggest Blago, or someone in his office, was told by someone affiliated with Obama that if he appoints Obama’s pick, his wife will be placed on paid corporate boards?

Doesn’t that mean the president-elect offered a sitting governor a de facto bribe to appoint the Senator he supports?

Think this will get a lot of media attention and scrutiny?

Hell to the no.

Thomas Friedman Flips His Flat World Upside Down

3 12 2008

Someday we might look back at the weeks directly after the election and marvel at how Obama won the war in Iraq so quickly.  Thank goodness the blogs announced VI-Day.

Friedman bemoans the length of America’s occupation while disregarding Iraq’s own wishes to be occupied until 2011.  Denying this mitigating factor signals his blatant partisanship and forecasts his delusional whopper that; Obama will play tough-guy with the Iraqis better than Bush; and that if we stay longer, but not too long, Obama’s given genius will help a moderate Iraq take root and give Democrats credibility on national security.  And liberals think conservatives take enormous leaps of logic and faith!

Obama is inheriting an Iraq where we have to begin drawing down our troops — because the occupation has gone on too long and because we have now committed to do so by treaty — but it is also an Iraq that has the potential to eventually tilt the Arab-Muslim world in a different direction.

I’m sure that Obama, whatever he said during the campaign, will play this smart. He has to avoid giving Iraqi leaders the feeling that Bush did — that he’ll wait forever for them to sort out their politics — while also not suggesting that he is leaving tomorrow, so they all start stockpiling weapons.

If he can pull this off, and help that decent Iraq take root, Obama and the Democrats could not only end the Iraq war but salvage something positive from it. Nothing would do more to enhance the Democratic Party’s national security credentials than that.

What else should we expect from a newspaper that’s done more to undermine the War in Iraq America than any other, outside of al-jazeera?  Even still, very disappointing stuff from such an esteemed fellow like Thomas Friedman.

Here’s a “reporter’ for NYT at his best, in field.
