Hugo To Fidel: “Careful Or We’ll Be On Obama’s Right!”

3 06 2009

(POST UPDATED BELOW) Many a truth is said in jest via Al-Reuters:

Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday that he and Cuban ally Fidel Castro risk being more conservative than U.S. President Barack Obama as Washington prepares to take control of General Motors Corp.

“Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right,” Chavez joked on a live television broadcast.

Holy $#*^ he called him “comrade.”  If Rush Limbaugh did that, MSNBC would start talking about oxycontons within the hour.

UPDATE: From the incredibly liberal Pravda, a scary view from the outside, that we should all take into account because we need to pay attention to the rest of the world:

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”.  Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes.  Should we congratulate them?

I’m wondering if the American left will ever allow conservatives to call them “socialists” without smearing their character and marginalizing their reputations in some sort of reverso-witch-hunt maneuver, which ends up typecasting the accuser.

All these international lefties made me realize; ripping liberals for being Marxists is kind of like me talking about your mom.  I really can’t get away with it unless we go legit she’s my mom.

My B.O. Dump. Constipated No More!

24 02 2009

Ok look, admittedly, Obama played a big role in the inception of OOTB.  His election, motivated me to create something instead of just reading and emailing worthy links.  However, I never wanted it to become a monotonous arena which only fielded an Obama bashfest.

From comments and reader emails, it’s pretty clear a lot of different types of homies are in the OOTB audience, including Obama voters.  I intend to keep it that way by continuing to point to an array of topics,  my favorite being the ones which clearly display the pervasive sickness of modern liberalism, a mental disorder that often renders “Onion” spoofs believable and mundane.

So, I must explain that the lack of recent posts isn’t stemming from a dearth of relevant news stories, but rather an inundation.  Simply put, I’m overwhelmed, and it’s by design. The speed and voracity of Obama’s change is not only blowing my mind, it’s depressing me.  I just can’t keep up, and if a wonk can’t keep up, what is everybody else supposed to do?

It should come as no surprise, really.  The man was the most liberal member of the Senate even though he didn’t do anything there but skip votes and run for president.  Opponents were lambasted as McCarthyites for judging him by his friends, something every parent rightfully does with their children.  And of equal importance, the philosophy of overwhelming the system to confuse the masses and institute rapid and sweeping change is undoubtedly near and dear to his heart.

Remember, “you never want a serious crisis to go to waste.

Bush didn’t even say that, and people explain the entire War on Terror on a similar premise, yet as we’ve said, no one will accuse Obama of cherry-picking or utilizing the sitch for personal missions.

We’ve already discussed Obama’s endless “politikol kapital.”  We showed you his alarmingly aggressive 1st week in office which saw him pass more executive orders than the previous seven combined presidents.  We’ve endured shocking levels of corruption, lack of vetting, poor judgment and a cabinet chock full of lobbyists.  We took note that his radical nominees simply disappeared…from Socialist websites. And, we also posted his consolidation of power in rendering the census, a W.H. jurisdiction. We’ll add all that to the consideration, but omit it from the following updates.

It’s crucial to remember that we were told the worldly and intellectual Obama would restore alliances and help America in her foreign and domestic pursuits.

The opposite is happening.

Literally each one of these could become its own post.

Kyrgyzstan announced in Moscow that the U.S. air base in Manas, an absolutely crucial NATO conduit into Afghanistan, will be closed in spite of previous commitments to President Bush.

Pakistan released the AQ Khan, a scientist who helped Pakistan develop a nuclear weapon and allegedly leaked atomic secrets to North Korea, Iran and Libya.

Obama privately supports “sharia law for peace” deal with the Taliban in Pakistan.

The Norks are threatening a nuke test after recently backing away.

The Euros are threatening a trade war over, “buy American” clauses in the “Stimulus” bill.

Europe ignores Obama’s demands for more troops in Afghanistan.

Obama has infuriated many Brits by refusing to keep the bust of Winston Churchill in the White House.

Yemen, the proposed home of a new rehab center for Gitmo victims, released 170 terrorists.

Al-Qaeda’s leader in Yemen claims the organization possesses nuclear weapons.

Obama humiliated America on Arab TV, ended sanctions on Iran and subsequently Ahmadinejad said he “welcomes the kind of change U.S. President Barack Obama offered.”  Strange! So do liberals!

Obama has waived sanctions on Syria.

Iran launched a satellite into space

Iran carried out computer tests on its Bushehr nuclear power plant in preparation for its launch.

Obama’s State Department said that Hugo Chavez’s president-for-life referendum, was “for the most part … a process that was fully consistent with democratic process.”

Obama’s participation would be disgusting enough, but the deliberate silence at, “Israel is racist” and holocaust denials at the rabidly anti-Semitic Durban conference planning sessions is sickening. Even Italy and Britain are threatening a boycott.

Obama quietly restored Samantha Power to his inner circle. She has questioned the Jewish Lobby and many think she has called for US troops in Israel to enforce peace with Palestinians, while subscribing to the anti-Semitic, “Walt-Mearsheimer” theory.

And his new Intel (spy) Chief, Chas Freeman Jr., blames Jews for the Jihad, and has published a “vicious anti-Israel” journal through an Arab lobbyist group which he was president of.

Obama cut military spending and directed defense officials to sign a pledge stating that they will not share the 2010 budget with individuals outside the federal government…transparently shady!

Obama has awarded Hamas another $900Mil.

On the homefront, things are equally depressing.

Fearmongering and straight up lies are being used to pressure American’s into the disastrous “stimulus” bill which unlike the War in Iraq, is hasty and unilateral.

Many are worried about the hidden Socialist health care portions of the new “stimulus” bill.

Obama was negligent to the plight of a frozen, starving, Kentucky.  Failed to utilize FEMA even after the state’s entire Nat’l guard was called up. Maybe cuz it’s not a “chocolate city.”

Six federal camps are on the horizon as H.R. 645 moves forward and Obama’s “civilian nat’l security force” takes shape.

Obama plans to resettle 100k Iraqis in America and thousands of PalestiniansWhat could go wrong?

Obama’s race-obsessed, clearly incapable, AG called American” a nation of cowards.”

The Environmental Protection Agency is expected to act for the first time to regulate carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases…so try not to exhale.

Obama secretly shut down his Bush’s system for reviewing regulations and realigned and expanded two key White House policymaking bodies.

Obama secretly backtracked from campaign pledges to small businesses by removing quotations (without update) from his website, a trend bloggers noticed long ago.

Obama has not commented on the purported $550Bil electronic run on banks on September 11th, that was seemingly accidentally leaked by Rep. Paul Kanjorski, D-Pa., in a CSPAN interview.

Some things are reassuring for Jihad-wary conservatives like these stories:

obamabush

But as I take solace in the realistic stances Obama has suddenly taken on national defense, will mainstream liberals notice that his word is completely useless?

Finally, most of these disasters have occurred in the last week or ten days.  We’re a month into this thing.  The trajectory is down right frightening.

There’s more, of course…and you know I’ll deliver when it’s time.

Liberalism Or Children’s Thinking Part II

19 01 2009

Back by popular demand, a follow-up to a previous post!

Are 10yr old kids as wise as Ivy League professors and New York Times writers or is it the other way around?

chickenegg_300

Once again from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, proof that you can’t tell where liberalism starts:

The following were written by fifth-graders at Pittsburgh Liberty.

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,

I just want to give you advice on what you should do for America. What you should do is to try to find a way to stop the war in Iraq. Many people from America that got who were sent to Iraq are dying, and most of their loved ones start to cry, and I hate to see people cry from that. But the good thing is that the people who went to war want to fight for our country. So, Barack Obama, if you do it, it may protect people and our country and it will give America good peace.

Sincerely,
Elexa Hanner

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,

Something you can do to help our country is do more recycling. You could put more recycling bins everywhere. We can still have garbage cans but not as many. California and other states that do recycling do way more recycling than Pennsylvania does. I hope when you read this, President-elect Barack Obama, you will do it. Also, do other things to help the environment and the country. Thank you.

Madison Novak

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,

Have you ever been out and said, “What is that smell?” It could be cigarettes. That is second-hand smoking. I think that smoking should be against the law. Here is what might happen if smoking was illegal.

The positives of no smoking are: You will be healthy, you will live longer, you will look better and there will be cleaner air. The negatives are: It is hard to quit and you can’t get the tar out.

There should be no smoking because it is bad for kids and there is not much we can do but a lot you can do.

Sincerely,
Brianna Watson

*Little Brianna might know, Obama is powerless over cigarette addiction, if the media had told her parents.

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,

When you become president, I think you should push to help the environment and push to lower health-care costs. If you push to help the environment then the world be a nicer place for everybody. It would be good to stop global warming or slow it down a lot.

You should give money to science groups that are trying to discover ways to stop global warming. You should encourage people to plant a tree or other plants on Arbor Day. You should reinforce the law that companies can’t drop their chemical waste into the ocean. The animals that live in the ocean will live longer.

I think you should push to lower health- care costs because everybody needs health care to live. People won’t become bankrupt because they paid their medical bill. People won’t be afraid to go to the doctor’s office because they are saving their money for something they think is more important.

Zachary Lardas, age 10

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,

I am so happy you won the election. You are going to be a great president. The way you could help our country is by ending the war because citizens are getting killed and not having enough time to spend with friends, family, and to have fun.

You could also make the gas prices lower. U.S. citizens are not going to pay for the gas because they won’t have enough money. When they can’t afford gas, they won’t be able to visit different locations. But if they want to visit by plane, or train, both will be crowded, and planes cost a lot of money, too. Anyway, hope you have a great time in the White House.

Sincerely,
Peyton Skinker, age 11

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,

The changes I would like to see once President Barack Obama takes office are changes in health care, where everyone would be covered by a good health plan. Next would be the economy, where companies would be able to create more jobs, making goods affordable for everyone. I would also like to see Mr. Obama end the war in Iraq and bring the troops home.

The money that is spent on the war can be used in our economy by making loans to businesses and homeowners. We could drill for our own oil instead of buying from foreign countries.

Chaz C. Charles, age 10

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,

To be a great president and change the world, you should spend more of your time on gas prices, recycling, our world, homes and apartments for homeless people, and taxes.

First, you can lower gas prices because our parents are already paying water bills, cable bills, and electricity bills. I think everyone has noticed prices going down, but prices should be near $1.45 a gallon. The gas stations seem to get more money back when they lower their prices because more people come.

Secondly, when the recycling trucks come and the workers take the recyclables, it should go to the economy and some of the workers should take it to one of the shops where they give you money in return for the recyclables. This way, you help the Earth and you get money.

Third, you should help the Earth on more days than its birthday. You should have one day every month that you do something like plant a tree, water gardens in your community, pull weeds, harvest food and give it to homeless people.

Speaking of homeless people, they need a center where they can sleep, eat, communicate and get a good education. If you were a homeless person who sleeps at a bus stop, you would be cold, hungry and afraid. At the center there should be a doctor who gives checkups.

These are tips that can help you become a great president. I think you will be a good president because of what you said during the election against Hillary Clinton and John McCain. Everything you said then counts as a promise.

From your No. 1 fan,
John Karl Council, age 10

Dear President-elect Barack Obama,

My name is Eddie Hanif Bey, and I am a fifth-grade student at Liberty Elementary School. My middle name means true believer. And I believe in you. I just turned 11 on Nov. 21. I was so excited when the teacher told me about this wonderful opportunity to tell you about myself and to ask you some questions about how you will help rebuild our country even though I know you will be a great president.

I was born in Pittsburgh and am the youngest of five children. I have four sisters and I am the only boy; I guess you know how that feels. My parents have put my first two sisters through college and my third sister is at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. My fourth sister is in high school, where my mom works. I run track and like to compete. I am sure you know about competition, even though you and McCain weren’t even close.

I watch the news and really like your first commitment to our country. I look forward to hearing from you, maybe with the Lord’s blessings. I think you have completed a great accomplishment, being our first president of color.

I really think that you can change this country for the best. You will be the best president of our time, so take your time and make things right because you have eight years.

I don’t have a dog, but I would like to, so tell Sasha and Malia not to tease. My dad is a great role model for me, and you put the icing on the cake.

P.S. See you in the White House.

Sincerely yours,
Eddie Hanif Bey, age 11

Dear President-elect Barack Obama:

Congratulations on becoming the president!

In my opinion, to help our country, we should do more reusing and recycling of products instead of always buying new things. When we reuse and recycle, someone could find another valuable use for the product.

When you get your daughters their dog, you should adopt it from a shelter. That gives a dog a second chance and a new life. The dog wouldn’t just have a nice home but lots of care from a family. It could also help to inspire other people in our country to adopt a dog from a shelter. Also, please get your dog spayed or neutered.

We should do more to protect our environment from damage to air, water and land. We shouldn’t throw any fuels or trash in the water. If someone does damage to the environment, they should help clean it up.

And could we please just worry about our own country? We should end the war and stop violence. We should promote peace and give peace a chance. If we do these things, we could have a better country.

Thank you for reading my letter.

P.S. My cousin, Kiely. would like to be the nanny for your daughters.

— Olivia Rautio, age 11, Liberty Elementary

Dear President-elect Barack Obama:

Global warming is a huge problem. But there are ways you could prevent it. One way is to make electric cars more available because they don’t use much gasoline. If they are more available than cars that need more gasoline, then that might help stop global warming. Another way that might help prevent global warming is not using cars at all. You could encourage people to use bicycles or walk instead.

Another problem is pollution, which is one of the causes of global warming. There are also ways to prevent pollution. One way is to put more garbage cans around cities, neighborhoods and other places where there are lots of people. This way people won’t put their garbage on the ground. You should make a law that everyone should have to recycle or they will be punished. I hope you will consider my ideas.

“Brilliant Constitutionalists” Say This Stuff All The Time

19 01 2009

The other day, the soon-to-be, Ego-In-Chief called for a, “new Declaration of Independence.” Obama is seemingly gleeful at the economic crisis and the opportunity it presents for bigger government, huge expenditures and a grand opportunity for his legacy.

Side note: Maybe I sound like liberals who say Bush relished 9/11 because he could then bludgeon every Muslim nation…heck, maybe Bush did enjoy it.  Then again, don’t we all remember Bush at the kindergarten when he learned of the 9/11 attacks, something the empathetic left has never let him live down.  That was not the look of happiness.  But I’m open to the idea that he had a bone to pick with Hussein (Saddam)…are liberals open to the idea that Obama is ecstatic over the current economic storm?

Later in his speech, Obama gave us another hint of the contempt he has for the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence saying, “documents that (are) imperfect but had within them, like our nation itself, the capacity to be made more perfect.”

This reminds us of the audio tapes that emerged from the Constitutional law professor lecturer in the final days of the 2008 election.  The corporate media didn’t dare redistribute the word because the lunacy in them could have doomed his campaign and killed their dream.

In them, Obama, even without a Russian accent, bemoans:

The Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radicalIt didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the Federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf, and that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, tragedies of the civil rights movement was, um, because the civil rights movement became so court focused I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change.

If nothing else, this type of information proves that we still don’t know anything about Barack Obama because the media, so integral to a free Democracy, has completely failed us.

Geez, I wonder if Saul Alinsky, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers and Castro agree with Obama about the imperfect founding documents.

Breaking News: Obama’s Climate Czarina Suddenly Disappears!

16 01 2009

Disappears from socialist websites, as Gateway Pundit painstakingly details:

“Well what do you know?

The Marxisant radical and president elect picked a raging socialist to head his global warming/junk science position.

Carol M. Browner was listed as one of the leaders of the Commission for a Sustainable World Society which is an international anti-American, anti-West socialist organization:

She was listed as one of the members of the commission…

Until they scrubbed her from the website.

There’s no need getting everyone all upset over a raging eco-socialist in charge of US policy.

The Washington Times reported, via Drudge:
Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama’s pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for “global governance” and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

ANTI-PROGRESS PROGRESSIVES as they’re called here at OutOfTheBlu. Back to Gateway’s stuff.

By Thursday, Mrs. Browner’s name and biography had been removed from Socialist International’s Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group’s congress in Greece was still available.

Socialist International, an umbrella group for many of the world’s social democratic political parties such as Britain’s Labor Party, says it supports socialism and is harshly critical of U.S. policies…

Mrs. Browner ran the Environmental Protection Agency under President Clinton. Until she was tapped for the Obama administration, she was on the board of directors for the National Audubon Society, the League of Conservation Voters, the Center for American Progress and former Vice President Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection.

Her name has been removed from the Gore organization’s Web site list of directors, and the Audubon Society issued a press release about her departure from that organization.  Browner is also a member of Al Gore’s junk science group The Alliance for Climate Protection:

Although, she’s now been scrubbed from that webpage, too.

UPDATE: Commission for a Sustainable World Society website didn’t scrub everything in time:

They forgot about this article.”

Rightwingnews.com’s Van Helsing posted more about the travesty.

“Obama’s choice for Global Warming Czarina is an actual Marxist, but that doesn’t mean she’s above making a buck off the global warming hoax, which she will soon be in a position to prop up with all the force and stolen riches of our monstrously bloated federal government.

Browner is a board member of APX, a leading carbon offset trading company.”

So it’s another example of liberal websharking, exploding on the scene in the era of Obama.  Where censorship is used to hide devastating information about liberals who are adorned by the masses, as “good government guys.”  Not only that, but Browner stands to invent and enforce policy based on liberal junk science, which is designed to consolidate power and eviscerate capitalism, while also growing her own bank accounts; and there you have it.

Which Came First; Childish Thinking Or Liberal Thinking?

27 12 2008

chickenegg_300

Yesterday, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette commenced a new series that will continue through inauguration day.  Throughout the month, readers will be indulged with hope as they read child-like children’s suggestions to the President-elect.

Now, when OutOfTheBlu was a youngster, he was a bit of a Marxist; thinking he could work at a Ferrari factory while his friends worked as  mansion builders and other friends cooked baseball-shaped, filet mignons.  Then, we could all share for free and really live it up!  So, while we’re certainly not surprised at the overwhelmingly liberal themes of the letters, we are concerned that the usual naive (see liberal) nature of children is being used by educators as an incubating device for the Democrats.

Unfortunately, the letters are so deranged and so smothered in liberalism, it begs the question of who is teaching who.  Fix up the grammar and vocabulary, and these 10 year-olds sound exactly like Ivy League professors.

Hey, all we ever really needed to know, we learned in kindergarten!

Here’s an up close look at tomorrow’s adorable Marxist, fascist liberals.

Dear President-Elect Obama,

I am a fifth-grade student at Liberty Elementary School. I am writing to you for a school project. These are some things I think you should do while you’re in office.

My family discusses alternative energy a lot. I think you need to look into it, such as solar panels and wind power. We need to get them at lower, less expensive prices so more people will be willing to buy it. We should also get more organizations that sell alternative energy. It would be nice to get totally electric automobiles, but that can’t happen quickly so you could start with having a law that cars, trucks and other things like that have to have a certain miles per gallon.

Another thing I think is very important is to get out of the war in Irack. Many lives would be saved and it would show that the government cares for its people. Families would be happy to be together again and they would thank you and the rest of the government. There would be a lot more money going to other things such as alternative energy, schooling and libraries.

The last thing I encourage you to do is put more money into schools. There is one school I go to on Fridays. The work there is more challenging and interesting. I think school should be fun for everyone, not just the advanced kids. These are the things I thought of to raise grades and make kids not despise school days.

You could put people into level groups. The high- and medium-graded people would work together, and the low and rest of the medium people would work together. One of my teachers told me there was research about group teaching and kids learned most this way. The medium-level kids brought their grade up to an advanced grade and the low-level kids brought their grade up to a medium level.

Teachers should be able to improvise more. They could make it more interesting. If it is interesting kids will want to go to school, not dread it. It will also make them pay closer attention.

The last way I thought of to help raise grades is having a few periods in each day when medium and advanced kids go to a different class. Then the teachers can focus on kids who take a little more time to really learn the lesson well, and not be distracted by the kids who finish their work quickly. At the same time, the other kids can be doing more challenging work so they are learning, rather than doing the same repetitive things over and over again.

I hope, even though I am just a child, you consider what I have said. It may prove helpful to you in the future.

Maya Lapp, age 10

Dear President-Elect Barack Obama,

This letter is to give you some ideas about what you can do to help our country’s economy. One thing you can do is try to stop the Iraq war. It would be a good idea to stop the war because a lot of money goes into the war, which means taxes have a 95 percent chance of going up.

Besides that, we are losing lots of people in the war, which means that a lot of children are being left behind without a parent. Also, a lot of young adults are being killed in the war.

One more thing that can help to improve our economy is to prepare children for the future by improving the school system and its technology.

Thank you very much for your time.

Sincerely,
Maria Vaccarello, age 10

Dear President-Elect Barack Obama,

Here are two major problems in the U.S. that you can try to fix.

The first one is pollution. A lot of animals are dying because of pollution. Fish are dying from garbage being dumped into their habitat. People are dumping barrels of toxins into the oceans and many sea animals are losing food.

Another problem in the U.S. is global warming. In the future, all the land will be flooded with water because the icebergs are melting and the sea level is rising.

Si CHE Puede?

25 11 2008

I really disliked when Obama fans shouted “si se puede” instead of, “yes we can.”

Come to think of it, I hated that too, especially because Obama is more likely to say, “no we can’t” about so many things I care about. Like this quote, which I’m getting pretty good at impersonating.

Anyways, millions of Obama voters will be very happy to know that there’s a statue of Che Guevara in NYC now, a city he once threatened like all other terrorists.

“If the missiles had remained (in Cuba),We would have used them against the very heart of the U.S., including New York City. The victory of Socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims.”
– Ernesto ‘Che” Guevara, November 1962.

“The U.S. is the great enemy of mankind!” raved Ernesto “Che” Guevara in 1961. “Against those hyenas there is no option but extermination. We will bring the war to the imperialist enemies’ very home, to his places of work and recreation. The imperialist enemy must feel like a hunted animal wherever he moves. Thus we’ll destroy him! We must keep our hatred against them [the U.S.] alive and fan it to paroxysms!”

“The black is indolent and a dreamer; spending his meager wage on frivolity or drink; the European has a tradition of work and saving.”

“South American peasants are simply little animals.”

“Mexicans are a rabble of illiterate Indians.”

There’s a lot more where that came from, but let’s move on.
