I’ve been joking with friends for months that, “I want a black President just as much as they do, I just don’t want an African American.” Because many of my friends are also political junkies, they understand that I’m poking fun at the off chance that Obama is not a natural born citizen and is in fact from Kenya, as his paternal grandmother says.
In all seriousness, I don’t know what to make of this birth certificate thing. Many say our next President couldn’t pass a routine background check for the FBI, but people that I respect have taken strongholds on both sides of the argument (also, many have taken no side like the MSM).
I believe he was born in Hawaii as he says, but I keep coming back to the fact that he could release it and embarrass all of the frothing right-wingers, then counter sue for defamation of character. I can’t get that part out of my mind and the link above is quite professional as it reaches the same conclusion. So, what’s on the birth certificate that Obama doesn’t want us to see (not to mention the rest of his records)?
Also, I find it awfully curious that NO ONE in the “big” media has even brought it up to disparage the conspiratorial conservatives either, or even to simply report that over a half dozen lawsuits were charged against Obama and all he had to do to win decisively, was show his birth certificate. The fact that they haven’t even reported the existence of real lawsuits against a Presidential candidate, is a red flag and It seems to be a case of, “the lady doth not protest enough,” if you ask me. What is the media afraid of uncovering by merely reporting the existence of said cases?
Obviously this is a poisoned pill. Whoever brings it up becomes a lunatic and whoever brings it up loudly might just become a martyr. That’s my only explanation as to why the Clinton campaign and the GOP refused as well.
As I understand it, the constitution does not allocate a government agency the responsibility of investigating whether a presidential candidate is a natural born citizen. Rational people who understand our democracy, know this jurisdiction is supposed to be covered by the media. Because of their complicit failure, citizen journalists have been forced to risk their reputations. The most well known lawsuit against Obama by Phillip J. Berg was thrown out of court because the black robe ruled that citizens didn’t have the standing to make this inquiry. It’s reminiscent of the FEC saying they won’t investigate the $650Million Obama campaign, which has at least $150Million in illegal donations because, “it would be embarrassing.” Rest easy, they are going to check out McCain’s numbers soon.
So the framers left the backdoor open and the corrupt corporate media have abandoned their post in the watchtower. It’s also likely the founders of the nation couldn’t envision someone with the audacity to attempt such a stunt.
This must come to a head. It’s been boiling up for almost a year. And now, because of an intelligently designed lawsuit and great persistence, it will at least be discussed at the Supreme Court. The difference this time which bolstered some credibility to the suit? The prosecutor has sued both candidates to see if they are legally able to hold the High Office. Many readers will instantly remember the story that was ran by every wire service and most news services last spring, that John McCain was ineligible to become President because he was born in Panama on a naval base. Interesting that the MSM gave those charges the time of day.

7) Selective Service Registration Records. (Debbie Schlussel has obtained Obama’s Selective Service Registration record. She has done an investigation, posted on her website, thoroughly demonstrating that the registration is a forgery and a fraud.)
8) His Illinois State Legislative calendar.
9) The list of his legal clients from his days of private law practice.
