When Is A Door Not A Door?

29 01 2009

When it’s ajar the Oval Office window.

Brilliant Obama looked equally the fool as Bush when he couldn’t figure out the proper door to use to get back into the White House.

However there’s two remarkable differences in the similar cases.  Bush was duped by the existence of a door knob, however locked it was.  And Bush’s blunder will never be forgotten, whereas  Obama’s will never even be gotten.

5 Hateful Lies About Bush

26 12 2008

Myth 1: The last eight years were awful for most Americans economically and President Bush’s deregulatory policies caused the current financial crisis.

Myth 2: President Bush’s tax cuts only benefited the wealthy and were paid for by sacrificing investments in health care and education.

Myth 3: The President’s “go it alone” foreign policy ruined America’s standing in the world.

Myth 4: The war in Iraq caused us to “take our eye off the ball” in Afghanistan and with al Qaeda.

Myth 5: This Administration has been bad for the environment and ignored the problem of global warming.

For a solid debunking of these liberal lies that have been promulgated in nearly every newspaper, movie, and nearly every classroom in America, check this out.

UPDATE: Today, quite randomly, the NYT lavishly praised Bush’s health care initiatives. Good thing they didn’t say anything about it over the past few years.  Unreal.

Although the number of uninsured and the cost of coverage have ballooned under his watch, President Bush leaves office with a health care legacy in bricks and mortar: he has doubled federal financing for community health centers, enabling the creation or expansion of 1,297 clinics in medically underserved areas….

As governor of Texas, Mr. Bush came to admire the missionary zeal and cost-efficiency of the not-for-profit community health centers, which qualify for federal operating grants by being located in designated underserved areas and treating patients regardless of their ability to pay. He pledged support for the program while campaigning for president in 2000 on a platform of “compassionate conservatism.”

In Mr. Bush’s first year in office, he proposed to open or expand 1,200 clinics over five years (mission accomplished) and to double the number of patients served (the increase has ended up closer to 60 percent). With the health centers now serving more than 16 million patients at 7,354 sites, the expansion has been the largest since the program’s origins in President Lyndon B. Johnson’s war on poverty, federal officials said.

MSNBC: “Obama Comes Off As What He Is, Good Government Guy.”

11 12 2008

Good news!

Corporate mass media has thoroughly researched it, and unanimously exonerated Obama from any and all ties to Blogajevich after Obama said he knew nothing on the subject matter. I guess Obama never even went to the Capitol building in Illinois.

Basically, even centuries-old Chicago style politics, are repelled by Obama’s overall Teflon goodness, or that’s what Joan Walsh on MSNBC says.

Chris Matthews piled on Walsh’s nauseating adulation, with a completely disingenuous segue, blaming one-party dominance and the need for competition….in government.

Side note:

These people seriously do not understand that government encroachment doesn’t foster competition, absence of government does.

Where else than in nature, is competition’s unbridled rule, more evident?  Liberals worship Darwin.  How is this over their heads?  Naturally, mankind competes, and so therefore, open markets can maximize competition and allow for progress.

Liberals still believe politicians who say, “hi I’m from the gov’t and I’m here to help.”  And they have manifested their fantastical hopes for a benevolent monarchist in Obama, the “good government guy.”

A man from in Chicago hasn’t garnered this much loyalty since Chris Farley and George Wendt did Ditka.

UPDATE: Howard Fineman channels OutOfTheBlu and declares Obama hermetically sealed from Blago-gate.

Illinois Governor Arrested. Calls Obama “MFer.”

9 12 2008

In yet another example of inherent government corruption and liberal media bias, Rod Blagojevich has been arrested for rank cronyism as he attempted to defile the democratic process and get compensated for filling Obama’s vacant Senate seat. The FBI caught him saying a senate seat, “is a f^%$#*g valuable thing, you just don’t give it away for nothing.”

Goes to show you the political environment Obama mastered.

Big media naturally avoided his Democrat party label, as they almost always do, in their ongoing pursuit to brainwash the masses that, only the Repubs are the “party of corruption.”

Also missing from any “reporter’s” work?

Any mention of Barack Obama’s implied bribes to Blago, which sent the Governor into a profanity-laced tirade that was captured on FBI wiretaps.  They also neglected to mention the triumverate’s previously unearthed ties of Blago, Obama, and his ally; infamous scumbag slumlord, Tony Rezko.

From Newsbusters.org

Post facto thought: doesn’t Ross’s piece indicate that Obama was actually involved in this pay for play? Read this section again (emphasis added):

The FBI affidavit said Blagojevich had been told by an adviser “the President-elect can get ROD BLAGOJEVICH’s wife on paid corporate boards in exchange for naming the President-elect’s pick to the Senate.”

Doesn’t that suggest Blago, or someone in his office, was told by someone affiliated with Obama that if he appoints Obama’s pick, his wife will be placed on paid corporate boards?

Doesn’t that mean the president-elect offered a sitting governor a de facto bribe to appoint the Senator he supports?

Think this will get a lot of media attention and scrutiny?

Hell to the no.

Like The Child Who Covers His Own Eyes And Thinks You Can’t See Him

12 11 2008

I know some folks who consistently poopthebed about FOX.  Since none of them can name a daytime anchor or reporter, it’s obvious that O’Reilly and Hannity are really the targets of their rage.  Almost all of these folks also watch Olbermann’s Noggin every night.  It occured to me a while back that I’ve never seen Olbermann call himself a “lefty” or a “liberal” or openly admit who he was going to vote for.  To me, this is inexcusable for a media figure who partakes in such virulent and biased propaganda.  I understand now how difficult it must be for reporters to remain unbiased, but that makes their open announcements of their partisan leanings all the more necessary.  I’d always rather have them deliver the news they see fit, as long as they are clear about their point of view.  That way I can take it with a grain of salt.  For the record, Hannity clearly admits his party loyalty and O’Reilly never seems to…and he seems to be pretty conservative.

Olbermann was on the view and admitted to never voting…He thinks this makes his bias acceptable or unknowable, or something even though he bashfully submitted every time slightly less liberal, Babawa Wowtoes, called him an obsessing, mentally diseased liberal.  Him not voting is like Colonel Sanders abstaining from poultry.  And I think it makes him an even bigger idiot than I previously thought.  One for not voting while being a political animal, and two for his deranged, immature logic.
