How Many Dead Jews Can I Get For $14Bil?

We’ll surely find out, but something tells me the Palestinians still won’t be satisfied.

A Muslim So Moderate, You’ll Just Lose Your Head

17 02 2009

If you’re married to him…

Muzzammil “Mo” Hassan, founder and CEO of Bridges TV, an Islamist channel designed to present moderate Islam to diverse audiences, has been arrested for beheading his wife after she filed for divorce.  Hassan was given an award in 2007 by the Hamas-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Imagine if he was a Televangelist!

Mark Steyn is on the cutting edge of the story in his latest piece, Headless Body in Gutless Press

When poor Mrs. Hassan’s husband launched his TV network to counter negative stereotypes of Muslims, he had no difficulty generating column inches, as far afield as The Columbus Dispatch, The Detroit Free Press, The San Jose Mercury NewsVariety, NBC News, the Voice of America, and the Canadian Press. The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle put the couple on the front page under the headline “Infant TV Network Unveils The Face Of Muslim News”.

But, when Muzzammil Hassan kills his wife and “the face of Muslim news” is unveiled rather more literally, detached from her corpse at his TV studios, it’s all he can do to make the local press — page 26 of Newsday, plus The Buffalo News, and a very oddly angled piece in the usually gung-ho New York Post, “Buffalo Beheading: Money Woe Spurred Slay“.

aasiya_hassanHere’s the formerly happy couple…As you can see, they are the definition of “moderates.”

He only went slightly overboard from what the Quran told him to do…

Give him a Sharia court, and they’re likely to find him innocent.

Israel Gives Medicine. Arabs Load Explosives. Give Back!

13 02 2009

medbomb1

This is NOT a case of ‘giving someone a dose of their own medicine.’

JerusalemPost sez:

Medicine bottles, transferred to the Gaza Strip as humanitarian aid by Israel, were used by Hamas as grenades against IDF troops during Operation Cast Lead. The medicine bottles were filled with explosives, holes were drilled in the caps, and fuses were installed. Once Hamas fighters lit the fuses, they had several seconds to throw the grenades at soldiers. The IDF also found small explosive devices that used medical syringes to hold their fuses.

UPDATE: Flashback…Hamas dresses up as doctors and nurses and fights from hospitals

Dhimmi Carter: “Hamas Can Be Trusted” Jews Cannot

26 01 2009

This filth was warned by the Bush Administration not to talk with Hamas, has done so repeatedly and is now taking his message to other anti-Israel crowds, like NBC.

He could have gone to CBS as Atlas illustrates 60Minutes’ “anti-Jewish blood libels” from last night’s propaganda show.

Carter glowed, “perhaps most important, there is an overwhelming common desire for peaceful and prosperous lives among the citizens of Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt.”

Somebody tell the Jewhater that Muslims in the region aren’t exactly desiring prosperity and have diagnosed the Jews’ problem.  Nasrallah sums it up:

Another weakness is that both as individuals and as a collective,
they are described by Allah as “the people who guard their lives most.”
Their strong adherence to this world, with all its vanities and
pleasures, constitutes a weakness.

In contrast, our people and our nation’s willingness to sacrifice
their blood, souls, children, fathers, and families for the sake of the
nation’s honor, life, and happiness
has always been one of our nation’s
strengths.

If Bush Is Obama, Who Does Obama Get To Be?

13 01 2009

The worst of what I feared about an Obama administration has already been brought to me in Bush’s flailing last days.  Socialism, huge expenditures during a recession that will lead to inflation, and complete abandonment of Israel and the greater war against radical Islam, has been capped off by the US abstaining in a UN vote which calls for a cease fire by Israel.

UPDATE: As Tigerhawk points out, Canada stood alone before a United Nations human rights council yesterday, the only one among 47 nations to oppose a motion condemning the Israeli military offensive in Gaza.

The only hope is that now that Israel is alone and America is waffling, maybe she’ll stand on her own and ruthlessly defeat her enemies.  Maybe now she’ll realize she can’t win fans anyways, and that America’s defensive umbrella is coming apart from strong winds.

So when news comes that Obama is going to talk to Hamas, it hardly phases fazes (sheesh!) me.  Especially when, as Creeping Sharia points out, Obama’s team has been talking with Hamas for quite some time.

The real worry, is that if Bush has gone this far to the left, what will happen to an already extremely liberal, Barack Obama.

It’s Not Just An Evangelical Thing

8 01 2009

A Rasmussen poll conducted in the last week of 2008 found that while 62 percent of Republicans backed Israel’s action in Gaza, only 31 percent of Democrats did. Almost three-quarters of Republicans blamed Hamas for starting this war; only a minority of Democrats agreed. Republicans are 20 points more friendly toward Israel than Democrats. And while extreme hostility to Israel does not exist among Republicans, almost one in 10 Democrats describes Israel as an “enemy of the United States.”

Liberal Jews (about 85% of them) love to say that the only reason Republicans support Israel is to expedite biblical prophecy of the end times.  However, 62% of Republicans are not Evangelical Christians.  The reason Republicans overwhelmingly support Israel in these battles is because it is a moral choice.

But who’s morality are we using?

We know liberals are deluged in moral equivalence to the point of obsession.  They enjoy living in a sophomoric land where one man’s “wrong,” can be another man’s “right.”  For then all behaviors are acceptable, and all injustices can be explained, usually by victimhood.

You see, then it’s all about understanding and tolerating different perspectives of the truth.  A truth, that is not universal because that would be unfair to people in circumstances we don’t understand. But rather a truth that is completely localized by someone who is sure to be called a victim.  A victim because they cannot be held to the same standard of truth for a reason that we all must be more tolerant of.  ie. The Jooooos gave Palestinians top-of-the-line greenhouses when they left Gaza, but their dirty Jooooo hands touched it and so they (greenhouses and Jews) must be destroyed. Or, Gaza is so confined that Hamas naturally conducts high level meetings and launches rockets from cramped hospitals and elementary school playgrounds.

See how you do it?

OutOfTheBlu contends this affront to the existence of universal moral truths, is really a beef with G-d and religion.  Belief in a higher power renders the liberal mind incapable of remapping a rigid moral code into the false moral systems that are more concerned with fairness and tolerance than obvious, “right and wrong.”

The Muslims routinely admit the Jews’ biggest weakness is their “love of life.”  Similarly, Israelis contend that the battle will not stop until, “Muslims love their children more than they hate Jews.”

Here’s a little thought experiment.

Who benefits when:

Israelis die?

Palestinians die?

If you answered Palestinian Muslims for both, you win.  Unfortunately, your gift prize is what Palestinians have given to the world.

Nothing.

Whatever. Go on Jews. Keep the unwavering support for a party that hates you.

Snowball Survives Hell: Egypt Blames Hamas!

8 01 2009

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Also, something that won’t be found on Al-Jazeera or any American newspapers, “Egyptian border guards have opened fire on Palestinians who breached the border to escape Israel’s assault on Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”

Don’t ask Dhimmi Carter for an explanation.  He just blamed the truce break on…wait for it…ISRAEL!  He says they, “launched an attack in Gaza to destroy a defensive tunnel being dug by Hamas…” Now, that’s clever stuff!  The smuggling tunnels are juuuust like 1950s American bomb shelters!

And it’s important to note that Gazans are being denied medical access at Egyptian hospitals.

The mainstream media will be sure not to tell the, “no-human-being-is-illegal/open borders” crew.  Maybe the Palestinians should just say, “they’re only doing the jobs Egyptians won’t do.”

Via Instapundit: Jules Crittenden has thoughts. “It’s a build. George Bush actually made significant progress in that area, facilitating the isolation of Hamas in the Arab world. With a major assist from Hamas itself, of course, as the savagery of this terrorist group became apparent. That could be another promising area of foreign policy for Obama to lift wholesale from the Bush admin. The suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza can be laid directly at the door of Hamas and its murderous policies, with a nod to clandestine support from Iran.”
